Since cats are treated like people by their owners, one can imagine them 'being' human in their behavior. My paintings of whimsical cats are just that - cats doing fun and funny things, things that we humans might do. I did a series of Cats with Hats (you'll see them below) and am finishing a series of Full-Figured Cats (see first three images here - more to come). For the Dog people, there are Dogs with Hats along with Dancing Ravens. In addition to custom animal portraits and whimsical paintings, I also paint non-whimsical cats - cats in eye-catching settings or just being cats.
